Roleplay - 12th of June

"Skittles, wait! Maybe we should get... help." Limmerick sighed as Skittles ran off. "C'mon, Loki. We hafta tell the others what's happening." Limmerick darted off, leaving Loki behind. Loki was still limping badly on his hind leg.

Limmerick arrived at the burrow first. "Megan! Starlight! JD! Help! A monster took Cracker Jack. Sparkle was biting it and is gone. I think he went with the monster to get Cracker Jack. Skittles just went after the monster! You hafta help!" The words poured out in a torrent.

Loki was still limping toward the burrow. He was quite a sight. His fur was messy with mud. His left eye was swollen shut and there was a cut just above and over his mask. There was dried blood on his face. He was limping on his hind leg.

The rooster flapped it's wings and one hit Skittles right in the face.

Not finished with Skittles yet, the dog rushed forward and clamped his jaws tight on Skittles. He pulled her from the rooster and began shaking his head wildly.

Megan poked her head out of the burrow and yelped, "What happened!?!"

Limmerick said, "We were playing in the grass, in this log-burrow, when the monster came. Cracker Jack wouldn't get up. The monster got him. Then Sparkle came and fought and Loki bit the monster. The monster ran off with Cracker Jack and Sparkle. Loki got hurt. We hid a little bit, then got a drink. We tried to find the burrow. Skittles found us, showed us how to get here, then went after the monster." THe words came out in a huge rush, one after another, without a pause for breath. Limmerick paused and noticed Loki wasn't with her. "Where's Loki?" she cried.

Loki couldn't run on his hurt leg, so he was still limp-walking as fast as he could to the burrow.

Megan narrowed her eyes, "Stay here! I'll be back!" She quickly ran off toward where Limmerick had come from.

Sparkle struggled to his feet. He barely had the strength to stand, let alone fight. "Skittles!" He called. "Go back! Get JD, and Megan! We have to get Cracker Jack!"

Loki heard something coming quickly toward him. He looked over to his left and saw a tangle of weeds and bushes. It wasn't much cover but it was better than being in the open. He starting running (still limping) toward it.

Limmerick went rapidly into the burrow. She saw Starlight and ran to her, crying. She snuggled to her, like any scared kit.

Skittles was able to look and him and frown. "Ii'mm beeiinngg ttthrownn llikee aa cchew ttooyee!" she yelled while she was rapidly being jerked to one side and the other. She managed to lift and crunch her jaws hard on the dogs nose, she tasted discusting liquid flow into her mouth.

The dog snarled and kept thrashing around.

Suddenly the human's door came open... and he had a gun. (RUN!)

Loki hide quietly, keeping his one "good eye" barely cracked open. He hoped nothing would notice him

Skittles scratched the dogs tounge. She bit deeper into its nose and felt it let go. She droped and squeaked with fear. "Run Sparkle! RUN!" she hissed darting away as fast as she could.

"Cracker Jack!!" Sparkle yelled towards the humans house. As he yelled he ran, limping and slowly, towards the house. "Are you in there?!"

Skittles whiped around. She darted at Sparkle. "Are you blind or deaf? That human has a gun! He'll shoot us if we don't leave NOW! If Cracker Jack is in there the human will make him all better, Don't forget he grew up around humans! Come on!" she nudged him and growled.

The farmer aimed his rifle at Sparkle, he thought the ferrets were attacking his animals for food or just because they were savage.

Sparkle growled in frustration. The human was so dumb! He saw that the dog attacked CJ, how did he not see it was attacking him and Skittles?! But Skittles had a point, so he ran as fast as he could (which wasn't very fast) into the bushes near him.

The human grumbled, all he had seen was that a savage little animal attacked his for no reason but for food or such, and that they were trying to defend themselves. Well it was Sparkle who took the first lunge at the dog when he simply could have run away.

Skittles raced into the bush after Sparkle. "Why didn't you listen to me before? You could have gotton us killed! Cracker Jack is fine with that human, just leave him!" she whispered but growled.

The human turned and went back inside.

Limmerick quickly recovered from her tears. "Loki! We have to find Loki!" she exclaimed. Limmerick charged for the front of the burrow.

Loki remained still, wondering if the animal her heard approaching would pass him or find him.

The dog snarled at the ferrets as they ran he barked after them, "COWARDS! IF YOU EVER RETURN TO MY TERRITORY AGAIN I'M GONNA RIP YOUR EYES OUT AND STUFF THEM DOWN YOUR SCRAWNY THROATS!!! AND THAT IS JUST THE BEGINNING!!! DO YOU HEAR ME YOU LITTLE DEMON RATS!?! JUST THE BEGINNING!!!"

The rooster stuck his beak up in the air and strutted away.

Sparkle growled at the dog but didn't attack. "This is why I left, and why I don't trust that human with Craker Jack. Humans are insane."

(Everyone: I am leaving early morning on the 8th for a three week camp! i will be gone the whole time! prepare to give a huge recap when i get back!)

Skittles hissed. She wanted to charge at the dog but she stayed where she was. "If only I could tear his eyes out and tear out his guts, I hate that dog with all my life." she hissed.

(Have fun, Foodisyummy. What type of camp?)

Limmerick ran towards where she had left Loki, calling his name.

"Human's are insane, and dog's will do whatever they say. Dog's a brainless." Sparkle hissed.

Skittles growled. "I'd like to smack some sense into that dog! He's so stupid! Hey dog? Why you so sthupid?" she raised her voice at the last part. She started to hiss. "Yeah I said Sthupid, Weird huh?" she squeaked to Sparkle. "We better get out of here before I have to listen to any more of the stupid dumb dog yell his head off at us, If I ever get a chance, I'll kill him." she hissed turning around.

"Skittles! You don't just yell at something that's trying to kill you that it's stupid! Even if it is!" Sparkle hissed quietly, trying not to draw the dogs attention. "You go back to camp. Help Loki and Limmerick, and get them back safely. I'll stay here and wait unti lthe human let's CJ go, then take him back."

Skittles ignored Sparkle when he hissed at her. But glared at him when he told her to get back to camp. "Fine, If you get caught while trying to get Cracker Jack back it won't be my fault when you get into a fight with the dog." she growled stalking off. She looked back at him and hissed quietly. "Why try and break your neck just to get me safe? Leave me alone next time and I can take care of myself if it makes you feel any better." she stalked away into the tall grass still not forgetting the day she overheard Megan and Sparkle talking about her.

Sparkle sighed. "Skittles, you're still just a kit. Your saftey id more important." He said and fixed his eyes on the door to the house, watching and waiting.

Skittles was already close to the burrow so she didn't hear Sparkle.
