Roleplay - 12th of June

Al stepped out of the burrow and yawned. He stretched and padded over to the creek to get a drink.

Charlotte woke up early with him, as she stepped over the others to get outside, 'accidently' kicking Joey on the way out.

Joey jumped up with a start, "WHO! WHAT! WHERE! WHAT! HUH?"

Charlotte rolled her eyes and went out.

Boon growled and saw the light at the tunnel entrance, he was now several weeks old and had opened his eyes. He began stumbleing toward the entrance, still not very good on his feet. He peeked outside and jumped out.

Charlotte smirked at her son, he was far stronger than his reject of a brother Ned.

Dicky blinked. He flickered his eyes over to make sure Ginger and Nippsy were still there.

Ginger wasn't there, she was in a far down and dark chamber, where she had just delivered her new litter of three kits.

Dicky jumped to his feet. Where's Ginger?! He thought, paniking.

Nippsy came out of the tunnel where her mother was, "Relax! She's fine!... and so are the new arrivals..."

"New arrivals?" Dicky gasped. He raced down the tunnel where Nippsy had come from. "Ginger!" He said when he reached her.

Ginger looked up at him and smiled, "I'm fine Dicky." She looked to the three new kits that lay by her.

"What are they going to be called?" Dicky asked softly.

"Hmm, I was thinking the female could be named Rose, and the males are Black Foot and Jericho."

"Beautiful." Dicky said.

Ginger smiled and nuzzled her kits.

Nippsy came over and smiled brightly at her new little siblings.

Just then Al came in with a bid smirk on his face, "Oh how touching, new little brats. I would have enjoyed this more if id didn't get in the way of your work!"

Al snarled and swatted at Nippsy, "GET BACK TO WORK!"

Ginger quickly pulled her daughter close as Al turned and stormed out.

Dicky bared his teeth after Al.

Al snarled again, "MOVE IT!"

Ginger was forced to get up and leave her kits.

Nippsy glared coldly at Al as she passed him.

Dicky followed his family, hatred for Al nearly radiating off of him.

Al snarled, "We need you three to hunt for us, Boyo here will be watching you, so again, none of you even think of running away... 'cause if you do... well, let's just say it won't end so well for those left behind. He snickered evilly.

Dicky stood by Ginger and Nippsy. He whispered to them, "Let me hunt. You are too weak right now and Nippsy is too young. I'll hunt enough so it looks like we all did."

Al snarled, "ALL three of you hunt! If you don't..." He chuckled darkly, "then say your last good-byes to eachother, NOW GET MOVING!!!"

Dicky hurried above ground and headed towards the forest.

Ginger and Nippsy were forced to follow.

Boyo stayed at a fair distance, allowing them to hunt, but still providing a sercurity camera for the Mafia to make sure they didn't run off.

Dicky approched Boyo. "Please, let me hunt for them." He begged. "I promise I'll catch as much as we would if we all hunted."

Boyo snickered darkly, "No way! I was given orders to make sure all three of you hunt, if they don't hunt, they get mauled, is that what you'd rather have happen to them? Hmm? Instead of hunting a little, go back and get torn to shreds?"

"Please." Dicky begged. "Ginger is too weak from kitting. Nippsy is too young."

"TOO BAD!!!" Boyo snarled, "NOW get to it or I'll sound the alarm right now! They can come right over here and rip all three of you to bloody shreds!"

Dicky nodded and went back over to Ginger and Nippsy, his head bowed. "I'm sorry. I tried. But he threatened to get them to come kill us." Without another word he went off to hunt.

Ginger padded off after him.

Nippsy followed, "It's okay, I can learn to hunt, easy."

Boyo followed at a distance, keeping a sharp eye on the trio.

"Ok Nippsy, watch me." Dicky said. A little mouse was a about a foot away, nibbling on a seed. Dicky jumped forward and bit it's neck. It hung loose. "Not that hard." He said. The mouse was mouthwatering. Freshly caught mouse was one of his favorite things to eat. He hadn't eaten much in the last few day's they'd been with the Mafia. It was all he could do not to eat the mouse then and there.

Nippsy nodded and spotted a vole, she snuck up on it and pounced. She managed to catch it by the neck and broke it's neck.

Ginger managed to catch a small rat.

"Good job!" Dicky congragulated her. He saw a young bird pecking at the ground and crept forward. He jumped. The bird took off in alarm, but his claw snagged on it's wing. He brought it to the ground and broke it's neck. He turned to Boyo. "How much would you like us to hunt?" He asked.

"Enough to feed the whole clan," Boyo smiled wickedly.

Dicky nodded and went back to hunting. After a few minutes he caught a vole. That was five catches all together, for the three of them.
