Roleplay - 12th of June

Al snarled and swatted him across the face. "Dis is your last chence, get outta line again, and I'll kill you right infront of 'em."

Dicky nodded hard.

Al snapped at the others and they dropped Dicky with a thud.

Al snorted and padded away.

Keelin watched and sighed. She didn't join the fight. As the others were distracted in punishing Dicky, she whispered in Nippsy's ear. "Comfort your mother. If you're hungry, there's a mouse to eat. Be quiet. Don't get the pack on you. GO! Hide out of site."

She then stalked away, leaving for patrol before the fight ended.

Nippsy nooded and quickly snatched a half eaten mouse and ran over to her mother. She nuzzled her and Ginger led her below ground. nippsy ate part of the mouse and her mother ate some herself. She waited for her brother to come down and join them, they had to eat fast so the Mafia didn't find the food they had taken.

Keelin loped away, toward her patrol area. She was thinking hard. She didn't like this pack, the way they treated the youngsters. And killing kits! She felt trapped. She couldn't find her way home again, even if she wanted to but she didn't want to stay with them. She hissed. Maybe she could find a way to help the kit, Nippsy. If only she could convince Al to let her train as a fighter.

Keelin slowed down as she entered the patrol area. She was near the Stars' territory. She checked for the scent of intruders.

Nippsy snuggled up to her mother and took a noon nap.

Dicky lay on the ground, too weak to injuired to even move. He wondered if the Mafia would let him just bleed to death, or save him so he could work. He thought maybe Ginger and Nippsy would help him, or that nice ferret Keelin. The Mafia might attack them if they tried to help, though.

The others just turned and left him where he was.

ooc: FoodIsYummy, did you get the PM I sent you?"

(ya, sorry! i wasn't paying attention!)

Keelin took a few minutes during patrol to hunt and killed a rat. She ate neatly, with a minimum of fuss. She thought about Dicky. He'd need food to recover from his injuries. But... the problem was, how to get it to him without the Leaders knowing. OR their henchferrets. Maybe she could hide something near the burrow? As she resumed patrol, part of her mind was on the problem of helping the outcastes, and part of her mind was on patrol.

Dicky, using mostly his front paws, dragged himself back to the burrow. His wounds weren't terrible, but they were bad. "Ginger? Nippsy?" He called quietly.

Ginger came up and helped her brother into the burrow, even though she herself felt as if she would die.

Nippsy whimpered and kept her head low.

"Thank you." Dicky said, leaning on her.

Nippsy padded over with what was left of the mouse and dropped it at her uncle's feet.

Keelin continued her patrol. There was nothing amiss. She stopped at the river boundary of Shining Stars and Mafia to drink and gazed thoughtfully at the water. Sighing, she continued the patrol.

Al yawned and stretched as he layed down.

Charlotte snarled, "Why don't we just kill them? they seem to be more touble than they are worth!"

Al smirked, "Dey'll break soon enough. Nows quiet! I'm tankn' my noon siesta."

Dicky ate the mouse quickly. "Thank you." He said to Nippsy and Ginger.

Ginger nodded slowly.

Keelin hid a rat in some bushes near the burrow after completing her patrol. She returned to the burrow, noticed Al and the others were all sleeping. She returned to the rat, bringing it to the burrow.

She quietly padded toward "her" sleep area, keeping an eye on the other ferrets. She placed the rat behind some and in a small "cave" in the burrow. She then walked past Nippsy, Ginger, and Dicky, hissing. Suddenly, she stopped, turned around and pounced roughly on Nippsy. Flipping her over, she hissed, "While the others are sleeping, get that rat and eat." She shook her a little, looking as though she was "disciplining," or just plain picking on, Nippsy.
She glared at all three of them and stalked away to her sleep spot for a nap.

Nippsy looked up and snarled at Keelin as she pounced on her. She was confused when Keelin wasn't hurting her. She watched herwalk away then she looked at the rat. As kind as it was, she, her mother, and her uncle already had enough to fill their stomachs.

She bouded over toit and begandragging it into the deepest part of the burrow. She quikly dug deeper and put the rat in the hole. She covered it up and padded back having saved it for later.

Keelin cracked an eye open, saw Nippsy hiding the rat, and smiled to herself. This isn't a solution to the problem. Those three needed out. But, at least they'll have food to eat. She wondered if she could get them to leave with her after Dicky healed. She closed her eyes and feel asleep, dreaming of her kits.

Al opened his eyes and growled as he stood.

Boon padded over and sat next to Charlotte growling.

Dicky, who had started to drift off, was woken by Al and Charlotte's growls. He opened his eyes and watched them, wondering what was going on.

Keelin got quickly to her feet, hearing the leaders growling. She stalked toward them, like a warrior, but not as one challenging the lead. She stopped and stood quietly watching the leaders.

ooc: Actually it was Boon who was growling. Al was just growling because he's grumpy.

Keelin noted the temper of the lead ferrets, so she backed away, going back to her sleep area. There was no alarm.

Charlotte headed off to hunt, she felt the need to kill something.

Dicky closed his eyes again and soon fell into a restless sleep.

Keelin woke up, stretched, yawned, and gave a good scratch. She decided to go get a drink and go for a hunt. She quietly crept out of the burrow, then loped into the woods.
