Roleplay - 12th of June

The dog tightened it's jaws and there was a small crack, it had broken CJ's leg, it seemed the more they tried, the worse things got.

Loki let go of the nose and launched towards the eye... maybe that would help. He managed to get his teeth into the dog's eye lid. Then he "poofed." (he's not descented- lol)

Sparkle saw what Loki was trying to do. He scrambled up the dog's face, careful to scratch and sink in his claws. He reached the eyes and ripped at one with his claws.

Limmerick screamed again, "FERGIE!!!! HELP US!!!!" (where are the other adults?)

The dog threw it's paw forward and knocked Loki away, and gave him a small gash from it's claw.

"Loki!" Sparkle called, hoping the young kit was ok. He turned his attention back to fighting the dog, he had to get it to drop CJ. He tore at it's eye.

Loki fell to the ground. He hit hard and the breath was knocked out of him. Limmerick ran over to her brother. "Loki?" She grabbed him by the scruff and tried to pull him away.

The dog snarled and pawed at Sparkle, it turned and began to run.

(did he drop CJ?)

(it still has CJ right?)

Sparkle sunk his claws into the dog's face so he wouldn't fall.

Loki groaned.. "leggo. Im alright." Limmerick let go of her brother. He got unsteadily to his feet and looked for CJ.

Skittles gasped. She raced towards Loki and Limmerick. "Are you two okay?" she asked. "Wheres Cracker Jack?" she asked worridly.

The kits looked at Skittles and nodded. Loki's cut was bleeding but it didn't look too serious. Limmerick cried, "CJ's dead, isn't he?" Loki looked sad, "The dog took him. Sparkle's still trying to help."

(I'm calling it a night. Talk to everyone tomorrow.)

(Okay! Night! I'm going in a few minutes to)

Skittles shook her head. "He's strong, he'll be okay, I know he will." she tried to sound hopeful but part of her knew that Loki was right he might have been dead by now. "Cracker Jack! I'm sorry what I said earlier! I take it all back! Please don't be dead!" she cried to the sky. She darted away into the tall grass. "It should have taken me not him, I know he was annoying but sweet to, Why couldn't I have done anything? I was just standing there watching! I'm so stupid! Why!" she yelled and started crying.

(Wow. She gets really emotional when things like this happen. Lol)

The dog was running with CJ when it heard a whistle. A man was calling him. he wagged his tail and bounded over. The man leaned down and ordered his dog to drop the animal in his mouth. The dog did as he was told.

Cracker Jack looked up, a human. Skittles wouldn't have understood his relief, but he grewup around humans. He knew the man would help. The man picked him up and carried him inside the farm house, "That leg of your's looks broken, we better get it in a splint right away."

When Skittles left, the kits were confused. "Maybe she went back to the burrow?" "She's really sad." "Yeah." The kits whispered a few more minutes, then realized they weren't sure how to find the burrow from here. They decided to go back to their small hidey-hole and wait. Surely, someone from the pack will come looking for them. Loki was limping on his left back leg and the cut on his face was still bleeding.

They crawled into the hole and cried about Cracker Jack until the fell asleep.

Sparkle, who was still latched on the dog's face, snarled and ripped bit the dog once more before jumping down and running after CJ. He too and lived with humans for a large chunk of his life, but he had run away, and didn't want to go back to living with them. But he had to make sure CJ was alright.

The man slammed the door shut right in front of Sparkle.

Sparkle tried to get in but instead got his nose bopped by the door.

The dog, however was still outside. It snarled loudly at Sparkle from behind him.

The kits woke up thirsty. Following the sound of water, they went to the creek for a drink. Loki was limping and there was dried blood covering one eye and part of his mask. The eye would not open entirely. They talked about Cracker Jack... why didn't he run? Was he really dead? After getting a drink, they looked around. "I'm hungry" Limmerick squeaked. "So'm I." replied Loki. They started heading in the direction where they thought the burrow was.

Skittles looked up and stoped crying after awhile. She followed Loki and Limmericks scent back to the creek. She started sniffing and seen them up ahead. "Where are you two off to?" she asked.

"Skittles!" the kits cried happily. They ran over to her, Loki behind Limmerick, and greeted her. "We got thirsty. We didn't know where to go so thought we should go back to the burrow."

Sparkle whipped around. "Oh great." He muttered. He ran at the dog and bit hard on it's leg, his teeth sinking deep into the flesh.

Skittles giggled. "Thats not the way to the burrow though, Follow me and I'll show you." she squeaked. She padded away and seen the burrow up ahead after a few minutes of walking. "Just go ahead, I'm sure JD and Starlight are in there already, I'm going to go see where Sparkle went." she squeaked darting off in the direction of Sparkles scent.

The dog snarled savagely, he was more than three times Sparkle's ize and wascertain to win. He sank his teeth into Sparkle's side, his whole jaw wrapped around him and forcefully pulled him off. He began thrashing around making Sparkle look like a rag doll. He suddenly jerked his head back and sent Sparkle flying. He didn't bother to catch Sparkle as he hit the ground with a hard thud.

Skittles heard faint fighting in the distance. She growled. "The dog who took Cracker Jack." she darted off towards the faint sound and stoped. She hissed at the dog and raced towards Sparkle. "Sparkle! Are you okay?" she asked standing over him. She turned to the dog and darted at it. Being her size she darted under the dogs underbelly and started nipping at it hard. She darted out and leapt trying to land on top of it.

The dog snarled and lunged at Skittles. It grabbed her by her head and threw her around wildly. Soon it threw her aside, slamming her right into the house front door.

Soon some of the barn animals were looking over in curiosity.

A rooster was watching, and he didn't like carnivores that hunted chickens, including ferrets. He charged right at them, he wanted them off his land. (He thinks it's all his XD) He pecked hard at Sparkle, and he had a very sharp beak. He clawed at him with his feet also.

A weasel watched from nearby, seeing her cousins fight for their lives, she decides this isn't the best place to hunt. She quickly turns and runs off.

Skittles squeaked in pain but she would not give up. She hissed at the rooster and ran at it. She hissed. "You'd make a great meal!" she bit its wing and hopped on top of it. She bit its neck trying to get it away from Sparkle.
