Roleplay - 12th of June

Skittles heard the kits and laughed. She knew he was just playing dead, he tried that many times on her but it didn't work. She walked over to a stream after the she walked away from the tall grass. She betn her head and started drinking.

When Cracker Jack didn't chase them, the kits slowly creeped back. They looked at each other and grinned. They jumped on CJ. Then they rolled off him and started running again. "You can't catch us," they sang.

Skittles looked up. She was done drinking and went back into the tall grass. She smiled. She would act like something that would come after them. She his at the edge of the tall grass and made a growling and hissing sound that didn't sound like a ferret.

The kits froze. "What's that?" they whispered. They ran up to CJ and pounced on him. "Wake up! There's something in the grass!"

"Where's Skittles?" Limmerick asked.

Cracker Jack still stayed limp.

The kits started getting scared. Then Loki started sniffing...
Limmerick also started sniffing the air.

"Skittles..." they breathed. They were still cautious but they started creeping toward the opening of the log.

Cracker Jack was detirmined to make them really think he was out cold. He still stayed still.

They looked back at Cracker Jack, then to the opening. Neither kit wanted to venture out. They were pretty sure the animal in the grass was Skittles but that growl was pretty scary and didn't sound like a ferret.

Skittles crept forward and growled again. She leapt out and landed by the tree, she started growling and then started laughing. She looked down at Cracker Jack. "Okay Cracker Jack! Time to wake up! If you don't we'll leave you out here for the coyotes!" she squeaked nudging him.

Cracker Jack still stayed where he was.

Skittles frowned it wasn't fun anymore. "Fine! We'll leave you!" she growled stalking off. "Limmerick! Loki! Time to go back to the burrow!" she squeaked.

The kits squealed in delight when Skittles "pounced." "That was cool!" "How did you make that noise?"

"Are you sure he's ok?" Limmerick asked.

"What about Crcker Jack? Maybe he's hurt...."

Cracker Jack was still detirmined to play dead.

Hiding in the tall grass, not far from where CJ lay, a farm dog had gotten out and was staring intesly at Cracker Jack.

Skittles smiled at the kits but then frowned. "You know he's just playing, He's done this to me many times before and it never worked. It's not working Cracker Jack! WAKE UP!!" she yelled in his ear.

Cracker Jack tightened his eyes at her yell but still didn't mave beyondthat.

Suddenly the border collie lifted out of the tall grass and it eyed the kits.

Skittles jumped at the sight of the collie. She stood frozen but whispered quietly to Cracker Jack. "C-Cracker Jack, Wake up, Theres a big dog right in front of us, and its freaking me out." she started shivering with fear.

The kits looked at Skittles... and saw the huge monster staring at them. They gave the terrified kit "scream!" Then froze....

"Craker Jack.. Wake up!" Loki nudged him, hard! "Scared!" Wailed Limmerick

Cracker Jack thought it was a trick and still layed where he was.

The border collie jumped out and charged straight towrd them, his teeth were bared and the look in his eyes said he ment to kill.

Sparkle heard the kits scream frrom where he was resting outside the burrow. He jumped to his feet and started racing towards the sound.

The kits screamed! Earlier, they had noticed a tangle of tree limbs up against a boulder. There was a small hollowed out area, just big enough to fit into, if you were a small kit. "Run! Cracker Jack, monster! Run!!" They screamed! The kits ran as fast as they could towards the hideout.

(probably every adult in the business in hearing distance would be heading toward the kits. That alarm scream gets attention)

Megan looked up and ran toward the screams.

Cracker Jack thought, Ha! I can't be fooled that easily!

Just then the dog snatched his hind leg and dragged him.

Cracker Jack squealed in pain and terror.

Sparkle jumped and latched onto the dog's ear, his teeth digging deep into it.

The kits heard his squeal and came out of hiding. Loki bravely charged up, jumped, and fastened onto the dog's nose. He knew how much that hurt. He clamped down as hard as he could. Limmerick wasn't sure what to do... She squealed again, trying to get the dog's attention, then started to run back to her hideout.

Limmerick came back out, saw Sparkle on the dog's ear, Loki on his nose. She ran, jumped, and latched onto the other ear. (ferret earrings, anyone? lol)

( lol )

"Go thak!" Sparkle said arounf the ear in his mouth, telling Loki and Limmerick to go back to the hideout.

The dog snarled and thrashed it's head wildly as it tried to dislodge the ferrets. This only made things worse for CJ, his lag was still in it's mouth.

He screamed as one of it's canines hit his bone.

Sparkle dropped off the ear and ran at the dog's mouth. He jumped on it's muzzle and sunk his sharp claws in, hoping it would bark in pain or something, and drop CJ.

Loki was hissing as loud as he could and Limmerick was hanging on for dear life as the dog shook its head, trying to get the clinging ferrets off. Limmerick lost her grip and was tossed to the ground.

She heard Sparkle saying something but wasn't sure what. Loki adjusted his grip, tighter.
