Roleplay - 12th of June

Loki looked up... "Are you ok, Sparkle?" He wished he was older, so he could go hunt or something to help.

Limmerick was talking to the angry/ sad kit as she groomed him (forgot the name). She told him about her siblings being adopted and how she missed them. But, she and Loki are still together. And he had his other brothers and sisters who loved him. "And I'll be your friend, too. So wil Loki. He may be a dummy sometimes, but he's a nice ferret. You're not alone."
She stayed patient with the little kit's anger.

"Y-Yes it is, That was probably the worst injury I've ever seen." Skittles squeaked quietly. She wanted to go back to the burrow more then ever but she needed to stay here.

"I'm fine." Sparkle said with a sigh. "I just hate being so injured that I can't even go help my pack with something important like this."

"I know how you feel Skittles, but right now they need you to be with them, the best place you can be is right by their side in their time of need," Megan spoke softly and with care.

"You mean to go with Gretchen and Storm? T-to look after Dawn?" Skittles didn't know how great that plan would work, she would probably feel sick every time she even glanced at Dawn, she had the worst injury Skittles had ever seen. "I'll try my best if thats what you mean."

Megan smiled and gave Skittles a lick to the forehead. She turned and went to the others to help.

Skittles nodded. She turned and followed Gretchen and Storm. "How is she?" she asked looking up at the older ferrets. "Her injury's are bad, she might not make it through the night." Gretchen admitted through Dawn's scruff. Skittles nodded sadly. She followed the two until they had reached the burrow. Skittles wanted to help Gretchen and Storm lower Dawn into the burrow but she knew she would probably get in the way. She stayed behind watching them lower her in. Skittles hopped in last, she ignored Loki, Limmerick, Starlight and her kits, because right now Megan had given her a job to do, a tough one but at least she'd be doing something useful for once.

Loki stopped playing and looked up at the injured ferret as she was carried in. He gave a little cry of startlement and confusion/fear. Limmerick looked from the hurt ferret to her brother. She stopped grooming the kits and joined her brother, licking his neck softly.

The kits crept up to Skittles and whispered "Are you ok? Is she going to be alright?"

Skittles nodded. "I'm just a little shocked and I think I might be sick, Gretchen says that Dawn might not make it through the night." she squeaked sadly, though she was right, she felt like she was going to get sick in her stomache.

Limmerick and Loki looked sadly at the injured ferret. The kits went over to Skittles and gently groomed her a little in comfort. "Can we help?" Limmerick asked

Sparkle got to his feet and slowly limped over to Skittles. "Dawn." He said sadly. "She fought bravely. They all did."

Skittles nodded to Loki and Limmerick and looked up to Sparkle. "Yes, We're lucky to have them, or you probably wouldn't-" she broke off. Skittles shook her head. "They were all brave." she squeaked turning back to Dawn.

Sparkle could guess what Skittles was about to say, so he didn't ask her about it. "Yes. They were. Now, who is in our pack that can heal?"

Megan shook her head sadly, "I'm afraid, just you, me, Storm and Gretchen, there's no sign of JD anywhere."

Skittles sighed. "I'm not sure, Megan gave me the job to look after Dawn, I just hope I can bear her injuries." she squeaked.

"Why did Megan give the job if you're too squemish?" Sparkle asked.

"It's not a job! It's a duty as a friend!" Megan narrowed her eyes at Sparkle.

"We're all Dawn's freinds. I can help if it's too much Skittles." Sparkle offered.

"I don't think you are getting the point," she growled. She walked past him and went into the sleeping chambers, it had been a long night.

"She's right. I don't get what she's saying." Sparkle said in a grumpy voice. He was still annoyed at not getting to go look for JD. He followed her into the sleeping chambers and streched out to sleep.
