Roleplay - 12th of June

(i know! Prince too, he ran into a tree because Lavender scared him!)

"Skittles no!" Sparkle said quickly. "I have to wait for Cracker Jack! You get Loki and Limmerick and go back to the burrow! Tell Megan what's happening!"

Skittles let go. She sighed but nodded. "Fine, If you die it'll be my fault because I listend to you." she turned around and darted off looking for Limmerick and Loki. "Limmerick! Loki! Where are you?" she called quickly.

Skittles, please don't blame yourself when i die. I need to do this. He thought. He wasn't doubting he would die from these wounds.

(im not sure if i actually want him to die though.)

The dog snarled, "We don't need filthy rats like you on our land!" His claws scraped the ground and blood dripped from his fangs. His ice blue eyes seened to spear right through them, "You traveled so far just to follow us here! Now we want you to go back! Is that so much to ask!?!"

Megan watched horrified, she quickly squeaked frantickly to the others, that HAD to retreat.

Sparkle looked at Megan. "I'm not leaving until we get Cracker Jack back." He squeaked back to her. He turned to face the dog. "We won't attack any more. And we will leave peacefully, as soon as we get our friend back."

He snarled louder, "FORGET IT! The only way you'll see your friend again THAT soon will be in the afterlife once I've ripped you to bloody shreds!"

Megan squealed, "NOW! If we keep fighting we'll never live to get Cracker Jack back!"

The dog smiled somewhat wickedly, "You better listen to her," He looked to the large female, "she appears to be the leader... are you choosing rebellion?" He hoped that if she thought they were rebelling agaist her, it might make them more weak.

Skittles turned to Megan. She darted at her and stoped. "I tried to tell him to come but he won't listen!" she squeaked.

"None of your business." Sparkle snarled at the dog. He nodded at Megan and tried to get to his feet, but his broken leg collapsed underneath him and his broken ribs felt inflamed.

Megan ran over to help him up and back to the camp.

The dog narrowed his eyes, if either of them took one more step toward the farm, he'd attack.

Loki crawled out from under the bush. The female dog was not acting threatening. Instead, she seemed to be standing quietly, watching. "Go." She growled. "Join your friends. Don't return." She padded off to join her mate. "Leave them be. They aren't strong enough to hurt us."

Loki and Limmerick carefully (watching both dogs) walked to Megan. They saw Skittles and Sparkle and starting crying a little.

Skittles gasped when they seen Loki and Limmerick. She started shaking, blood was still oozing out of her wounds, and she felt weaker. She followed close behind Megan and started to limp.

The dog growled, "Not us, but there are those at the farm that I have no doubt they wouldn't hesitate to hurt, didn't you hear what that young female said to the rooster, they are killers! We can't allow them near our land."

Sparkle leaned on Megan, hopping on three paws to keep his broken leg up and trying to ignore the burning pain of his ribs.

Megan led them back toward camp.

The dog stayed where he was 'til they faded from sight.

Skittles followed she sighed with relief. "Its all my fault all of this happend. See! I am bad luck! Everytime I try to do something nice or cool we always end being attacked or killed!" she whimpered.

Megan sighed sadly, "No Skittles, it was my fault, I was given the task of leadership and I took it for granted, I thought you'd all be safe with just one adult watching you, but I should have been there myself, a leader isn't a leader if they leave their clanmates to their fate."

Loki and Limmerick were upset about how badly hurt Sparkle and Skittles were. As they trailed dejectedly back to camp, Loki still limping, they whispered sadly. "They can't die. They can't."

(Rp with you guys tomorrow, I have to go. )

"But we didn't do anything wrong," Limmerick wailed. "We were just playing" Loki joined. "We didn't do anything."

"It was my fault anyway," Loki said, "I jumped on Cracker Jack and hurt him. If I didn't, he would have been awake and would have run." (he thinks he must have knocked CJ out in the play)

Megan looked to the ground, "He was just fooling with you I know he was, he tries so desperately to get other's attention, he was trying to get you to believe something actually happened to him, but in the end, play may become real, that is a lesson we all ust learn."

The kits looked sad. "We jsut wanted to play."

"Maybe we can sneak back and find him when the dogs are asleep," Loki mused.

Megan shook her head, "It's far too risky, they might not be awake at the time, but there are animals that will alert them."

Loki sighed, "That means Cracker Jack is gone. Forever. And Sparkle got hurt. I don't want him to die, too." Loki started crying. Limmerick started crying too. They continued to walk with the group, back to the burrow.

"Stop crying, both of you." Sparkle said. "No one is dying, and we will get Cracker Jack back. It's no one's fault, how could any of us know a dog would come? It was a worst case scenario that we didn't consider."

Megan nodded, but secretly still believed it was her fault. She now realized why Starlight gave up being leader, the stress and the thought of others getting hurt under your leadership. It hurt.

The kits looked a little shocked when Sparkle scolded them. Loki dropped back from the adults a little, with Limmerick following. They were trying not to cry but still teary. They started whispering about what they could do to "fix" what they did wrong. They figured out that they should 'never play again.' After all, if they didn't want to play, no one would have gotten hurt.

(ok, who said kits were logical. Play is also part of how they learn skills. They need play.)

Skittles followed close behind wincing at every step she took. "Ow." she complained when he cuts started to sting.

The kits trailed dejectedly behind the adults. When they reached the burrow, they ran ahead, Loki still limping.

They found Starlight with her kits and curled up beside her. Loki said uncertainly, "Can we have something to eat? I'm hungry."
