Roleplay - 23rd of June

Arrow was first up. The day was warm and toasty, but she shivered anyway.

Lavender stayed in the burrow, she hadn't been eating much in the last week, and her fasting was all to obvious with the bones of her hips seeming to stick out and her ribs could easily be felt if you brushed up against her.

Fuzzball padded quietly over to Lavender. "Are you okay?" he asked. She had been getting so thin lately. Now that he thought about it, she had seemed to be fasting since...hm, it was around when Prince and Amanda announced that they were mates, wasn't it?

Lavender looked up at Fuzzball, tiredly she simply answered, "Yes, I'm fine." She turned away and stared blankly at the burrow wall.

"Would you like me to hunt for you? You haven't eaten much lately," Fuzzball inquired.

"Don't waste your energy on my behalf," Lavender sighed.

"No, it's fine," Fuzzball insisted. He gave her a small, concerned smile and headed out.

Lavender didn't respond. She just laid her head down and tried to rest.

Fuzzball trotted out into the sunshine. He went straight off to hunt, ignoring his urge to nap on the warm ground. He caught piece of prey for himself and one for Lavender, after a while. He still wasn't the best hunter. Then he went back below ground. He laid Lavender's prey in front of her and sat next to her to eat his own.

Lavender sniffed the prey then turned away. She was clearly staving, but didn't have the heart to take a bite.

Amanda hopped out of the burrow, she didn't even stop to sniff the air or enjoy the fresh breeze. She loped off towards the river, she was clearly thirsty, instead of drinking, she dunked her whole head into the water.

Jericho stirred in the place where he slept.

Prince trotted after Amanda. He gave a light chuckle when he saw her. "Are you alright?" he asked.

Fuzzball was half way through his meal before he noticed LAvender wasn't eating. "You must be hungry," he commented.

Lavender gave a heavy sigh, but didn't say anything.

Fuzzball frowned a little. "Are you sure you're alright?" he asked warily.

Without much of a response, Lavender simply got up and went deeper into the burrow.

Arrow had poked her head in, "Does that answer your question?"

Fuzzball, with a confused look in his eyes, looked at Arrow. "No. Why is she so upset?"

Arrow sighed sadly, "I promised I wouldn't breathe a word about it, but it's quickly becoming a promise I can't keep, especially with her health at risk. Would you be willing to know if you knew I'd be breaking a promise?"

Fuzzball nodded. "She needs to eat. I mean, if you and me can get her to eat, then the whole pack won't notice." He snorted a little. "Not that Prince and Amanda would notice. The only thing they notice is eachother."

Amanda lifted her head and turned to look at him, water dripping from her head and whiskers. "Yeah, I'm fine, just really thirsty. Are you going to do anything today?" she asked, turning to start drinking again.

Prince shrugged. "What ever you want to do," he smiled. She looked so pretty, even with her head soaking wet.

Arrow sighed sadly, "That's just it, Prince and Amanda. Lavender revealed to me that she actually liked Prince, she always teased him because she wasn't sure and wanted to convince herself it was just a crush, but she did end up crushed when she heard Prince ask Amanda to be his mate. She told me that he had once tried to tell her she looked pretty, you know, right after Casanova... " She sighed again, "well, you know. Lavender said that with everything that had happened, she just didn't know how to feel, and was taking the time to figure it out, but she didn't have enough time..."

Amanda shook her head sending water everywhere. Her head was now fluffy. "I don't have plan's for today, that's why I asked you." she squeaked to Prince. "But I guess we could..." she trailed off, deep in thought about what to do.

Fuzzball blinked, frowning in confusion. "Lavender..likes Prince? But, but she hates him. She's always complaining about him."

Prince nodded. "We could go for a walk, to start," he suggested.

"That was all apart of keeping it from us, you think she was willing to take the risk of us finding out before she knew for sure herself?" Arrow muttered sadly.

Fuzzball nodded slowly. "I get it. But still. Even if she does...like Prince...she still needs to eat."

Amanda smiled. "Sounds good, you lead," she said. "You know, ever since we found out about the mysterious ferret liking you, It's been bugging me deeply," she squeaked.

Arrow nodded, "I know, but I don't think she cares, this is actually pretty common. I nearly starved after I saw Casanova with... you know the story."

Prince licked Amanda's cheek quickly. "No need to worry," he said, hoping to sound soothing as he started to walk.

Fuzzball nodded. "Should I try to take this to her again, or do you want to?" he asked, picking up the prey.

Arrow looked thoughtful then looked up to him, "It won't do any good, I've been trying all week to get her to eat but it's been hopeless... do you think... that if we... told Prince, and he were to talk with her... that maybe she might start eating again?"

Fuzzball shrugged. "I guess it's worth a shot," he said.
