Roleplay - 23rd of June

"Well, it was more of an attempt. I had gotten into a fight with Fergie and wandered off alone. A hawk came and took me. Fergie, Brook, and Megan all came after me, after I fell into the water, it was Brook that alerted Fergie that I was headed toward the rapids. If your mother hadn't been there, I wouldn't have heard Fergie calling for me, I wouldn't have been able to try and call back, and JD wouldn't have heard me nearby and be the one that came to my rescue, so it was sort of a chain reaction save my life, " Starlight smiled sadly. Her ears perked up as she heard someone coming.

Meanwhile, a young male was making his way into Shining Stars territory, his name was Richy. He was looking around when he saw two ferrets up ahead. He took a deep breath and started to approach them, hoping he'd get accepted.

Skittles frowned slightly, maybe her mother wasn't all that bad but she still hated her. She to had heard someone and turned to look, she frowned when she seen Richy and looked at Starlight. "What do you think he's here for?"

Starlight shrugged, "he looks to young to be a threat, maybe he's here to join?"

Richy came up to the two of them, his head low in submission, "I am sorry if I am intruding, but I am looking for some place to call home. Would you be so kind as to allow me to join you?"

Starlight's eyes widened, she had never met such a proper young ferret.

Skittles just shrugged. "That's up to Megan," she sat down and lowered her eye lids until they covered half of her eyes. "And who're you supposed to be?"

The kit smiled at Skittles, "My name it Richy, I am from the town of Detroit and I have lived with two cats and a chihuahua, belonged to a sweet little girl, and the neighbor's dog chased me out here."

Starlight smiled, this kit seemed nice enough, "We'll take you to Megan, I'm sure she'll approve."

Richy smiled, then turned his smile to Skittles, "might I have your name?"

Skittles looked at Richy, her eyes now fully open. "I'm Skittles, I was born in the packs, my mother was," she gulped. "Brook."

"Hm, haven't heard that name before, but I must say that yours sounds... sweet," He smiled warmly to her.

"Yeah right, I have the name of a sour candy," Skittles scowled at her name.

"But isn't it loaded with sugar? Everyone knows sugar is extremely sweet, and the sourness just means a little attitude, but that's what makes the humans like it, because it's not too sweet, not too sour, but just right," he raised a brow, trying to encourage her to believe her name was good.

Starlight decided just to go back and tell Megan about the new kit. She turned and headed back, leaving the two to chat.

Skittles sat down and looked at him curiously. "That's me alright," she said. "I can get snappy at times but other then that I can be kinda silly and stuff." she squeaked, rolling her eyes slightly.

Richy chuckled, "Sounds like you're pretty interesting to hang around, I'll look forward to getting to spending more time with you, you know, if I'm accepted," he sat down not too far from her.

Skittles frowned. "Well good luck, I might get you in trouble if you hang around me,"

"Oh it's okay, I get in trouble a lot too, like I said I was chased by my neighbor's dog here, how exactly do you think I got into that mess?" He said it with obvious humor.

Skittles giggles slightly, which was pretty rare because no one seemed to make her giggle. "I like you Richy, I mean as a friend. I just hope Megan accepts you then I can tell you about long ago when Fergie and Brook was alive." she squeaked.

"I'd love to hear about it!" Righy smiled.

Just then Starlight was returning with Megan. "This is him," she stepped aside to allow Megan forward.

Megan looked the kit over as he bowed his head in respect, "I am humbled to be in the presence of a leader with such loyal followers, and I hope to become one of those followers."

Megan smiled, she liked this kit, they could really use some like him around here. She rubbed her head against his as a welcome to the group sign. She nodded at him then turned to return to the group, just before leaving she turned back to him, "you are welcome here, have Starlight show you around, she knows where everything is."

Richy nodded, "Thank you ma'am."

Skittles looked at Megan and nudged Richy. "I guess I can tell you later about the story." she squeaked.

"Hehehe, yeah," Richy watched as Megan left then said, "will you come with me while Starlight shows me around?"

Skittles shrugged. "Yeah I guess," she stood and glanced at Richy then out towards the tall grass, she'd play there later.

Starlight led the way, she had pointed out the small creek and some of the burrows in the territory. after the tour was over, she turned to Richy, "Do you know enough?"

Richy nodded, "Yes, thank you."

She nodded, "I still suggest you stick with an experienced ferret until you are certain you are used to the land and won't get lost." After that she turned and left.

Richy looked to Skittles, "So what do ya want to do?"

"I'll tell you about the story later, first we can go and play in my favorite part of the territory." Skittles turned and headed off towards the tall grass, not daring to look and see if Richy was coming.

Richy looked around then followed, "so it's the tall grass that's your favorite place to play?"

"You guessed it," Skittles squeaked and disappeared into the grass. "Coming Richy?" she called.

Richy nodded excitedly and vanished into the tall grass.

Skittles hid in some grass, waiting for Richy to come by so she could pounce.

Richy sniffed the air and tried to find Skittles, unaware that she was planning to pounce.

Skittles waited and backed away, eying him and then, she pounced landing on top of him and pinning him down. "Gotcha!" she laughed.

Richy laughed to, he rolled over to cause Skittles to become unbalanced then jumped up. "And now I got YOU!" He giggled.

Skittles made a fake but playful frown. "Unhand me!" she said playfully. "Or you shall feel the wrath of my connections with the dead! I'll have Fergie get you!" she shut her mouth, not wanting to scare him.

Richy laughed and got off of her, still with a hint of worn out laughter in his voice he asked, "Who's Fergie? A ghost or something?"

Skittles got up and shook the dirt off of her. "Yeah, I can talk with her when she appears, all I have to do is call her name and she'll probably come, but I won't because we're having to much fun right now for Fergie to tell us things we probably already know." she rolled her eyes and trotted off into the grass, disappearing suddenly.
