Roleplay - 23rd of June

Al was wide awake and above ground, waiting for the others to wake up and get hunting.

Boyo was snoring loudly as always.

Nick-Nack got up to leave the burrow, as he passed Boyo, he kicked him hard in the gut.

Boyo woke up with a startled yelp.

Boyo's yelp made Tank jerk upward and hit his head on the ceiling of the burrow.

Nick-Nack snickered at the dominoes reaction.

Ruby crawled out of the burrow, closely followed by Dicky. She was afraid her status had shrunken to nearly the slaves. Ruby herself went off to hunt. Dicky shifted his paws, waiting for his orders.

Nippsy awoke and followed Dicky out.

Ginger returned from an overnight work, Joey was following, having kept guard over her all night.

Dickystepped back a little so he was close to Nippsy. "Are you okay?" he breathed to Ginger.

Ginger nodded weakly, "I just need some rest."

"Maybe they'll let you sleep while I hunt," Dicky suggested quietly.

Ginger nodded and went below ground.

Dicky padded over to Tank, head down. "Excuse me sir, my I hunt for you and your pack?" he asked quietly. By now he knew better than to try and get out of working.

Tank nodded, it was his shift anyway. He stood up, ready to keep watch over the hunting.

Dicky dipped his head and waited for Tank to go first.

Tank snorted, he wasn't supposed to lead. He was simple to follow and keep watch over Dicky, Ginger, and Nippsy.

Dicky took he hint and started trudging off to look for prey.

Tank followed at a short distance. Nippsy stayed close to Dicky, wanting to come along.

Dicky inhaled through his nose, scenting the air. Prey, he needed to find some. He padded forward a few steps, then to the side, but found not much. Finally he found the scent of a mouse. He pounced and managed to catch it byu the tail. A bite to the neck, and the mouse was dead. He offered it to Tank.

Tank bit down into the mouse, being a large ferret, he was able to devour it quickly.

Nippsy decided to try and began stalking around, sniffing the ground for the scent of prey.

Dicky did the same. He'd need to catch more if he was to get enough to feed the whole pack.

Tank watched with a careful eye.

Dicky soon gathered up a small vole and and equally small sparrow. "Is this enough prey...sir?" he asked timidly.

Tank snorted, "Sure."

Dicky gathered up his catches and truged back to camp.

Nippsy followed close behind.

Dicky, unfortunetly, did not wait long enough to catch prey for both the pack and himself, Nippsy, and Ginger. And they would be hurt if he tried to take the prey. So instead, ignoring his hunger, he put down the prey for the pack members to take.

Charlotte snatched one of the dead prey animals and fought over it with Nick-Nack.

ooc: I've decided to change Joey's name to Rhomboid.

Rhomboid and Boyo scraped over the other one.

Nippsy also put down the prey she had caught and it was taken by Al with no competition.

Dicky's stomach growled. He was sure that Nippsy's and Ginger's were as well. He approached Boyo, thinking Tank would've lost his patience with the slaves. "Sir, if i would be permitted to go back and hunt for my family...?"

Tank nodded and barked to Nick-Nack.

After having his share, Nick-Nack got up and was ready to keep an eye on Dicky, Ginger, and Nippsy.

Ginger was ready to follow Dicky out hunting.

There hadn't been enough of the slave's catches for Ruby to eat. But she didn't mind. She'd feel horrible taking prey from a poor ferret like that. She stood and shook her pelt, heading into the woods to hunt for herself.

Dicky padded back into the forest. Soon he spotted/scented a fat mouse nibbling seeds by a tree. Perfect! He was close, and it didn't even notice. If he caught it, it would ber a delicious meal for him, Ginger and Nippsy. He lunged forward and grabbed it. It didn't even have time to run befor ehe bit it's neck. Proudly, he started going back to camp.

Ginger saw Dicky with the mouse, but not wanting to be a burden, she decided to hunt for herself and Nippsy.

Dicky reached camp and looked around for Ginger and Nippsy. He spotted his sister and trotted over to her. "Where are you going?" he asked, setting down the mouse.

Ginger answered simply, "Hunting."

"We can share this mouse," Dicky offered. "It's plenty big."
