Roleplay - 16th of June

Amanda turned around seeing Lavender. She growled under her breath and stalked back. She sat down and faintly bared her teeth at Lavender, she wasn't in her greatest mood right now.

"Oh so the the kits nap is suddenly more important that Coco's LIFE!" Lavender wanted to rip Prince's face off.

"Huh?" Price asked. Coco's life? What was she talking about? Then he saw Coco. Of course he wanted to help her, sort of. But at the same time he couldn't help feeling angry at Lavender. How was he supposed to know? He'd been in the burrow. He had no idea Coco, Lavender, and Fuzzball had been attacked.

"If you had actually cared about your duties as leader, you would have been there when this happened, insead I had to take your place and lead the group to fight off the raccoon to save Coco's life!" Lavender felt he had no reason for Prince to be angry with her, she only ever did what made sense. Lead the group out hunting, they were hungry weren't they? Fight off the raccoon, no one else got hurt (except the raccoon) and they won.

"You could have woken me!" Prince countered. "And nicely, like Amanda did. Not by playing another nasty trick," Prince was getting fed up with Lavender. All she was was mean, hurtful, annoying, and liked to pick on him even when he didn't do anything wrong. Was it his fault he didn't have an alarm clock? No, they were in the wilderness and the only way he could wake up without waking up himself (which would mean he slept until the afternoon) was for someone else to wake him. He couldn't force himself to wake at a certain time.

"Like I said, you should have already been awake! Maybe if you didn't stay up so late telling us to make your sleeping spot for you, you'd get more sleep and be up earlier! You treat us like slaves and I've had it! I didn't want to do this Prince, but you leave me with no alternative, from now on, I'll do the leading, because I actually care about ALL of the members of this clan, unlike you! You only care for yourself!" Lavender really didn't want to be a threat to Prince's place as leader, but she was thinking about the well being of the clan.

Prince opened his mouth to argue. He hated, posotivley hated to admit it, but maybe she was right. He had been a teeny bit bossy, and maybe it would be better it Lavender led the pack. He pursed his lips but gave a tiny nod to Lavender, telling her that was okay with him.

Lavender was almost shocked at how mature Prince was being about this, she gave a nod and turned to go out hunting, and bring back food for the injured Coco.

Amanda's mouth dropped open. She looked at Prince. How is going through with this?! she thought. She turned and raced off towards the river, she needed to think clearly and get her throat undry. She hated the idea of Lavender as leader. She sighed and stopped sitting down and start drinking.

Prince sighed to himself, and then padded of in the direction Amanda had gone. "Hi," He said.

Lavender and Arrow spotted a clan of prairie dogs on the way back from their last hunt. Lavender took the left, and Arrow took the right. They slipped into two of the burrow entrances. They waited for someone like Fuzzball to chase the prairie dogs back inside and straight into their claws.

Fuzzball realized what they were doing and ran forward. "Rahh!" He yelled, and the prairie dogs ran towards their burrows, and towards Arrow and Lavender.

Amanda jumped. She turned to face him. "Oh, Hi Prince." she squeaked.

"Hi Amanda. I bet you're wondering why I let Lavender be leader, right?" He asked, his usual I'm-better-than-you tone no longer in his voice.

Arrow and Lavender both lunged at a prairie dogs and caught them. They dragged them above the ground. Lavender called to Fuzzball to help them get the large prey back to the burrow.

Fuzzball trotted over to the jill's. "Nice!" He said with a nod of his head. He helped pick up one of the prairie dogs.

Amanda nodded. "Just thinking about that, Or..." she was actually thinking about Skittles about how Skittles treated her.

"Or what?" Prince asked. He was starting to regret his decision to let Lavender take over. What if she was horrible?

Amanda shook her head. "Nothing." she squeaked not wanting to share anything right now. If she told him she was, well, was friends (As in they were friends) with a Shinging stars membe he was sure to tell Lavender.

Lavender returned with the others. Two prairie dogs in one hunt was rather impressive. Arrow tore part of one away from the one she and Fuzzball had carried and headed over toward Coco. She dropped the food by Coco to let her eat.

Lavender smiled to Arrow, she looked over to Prince, and smiled slightly. She realized she was smiling and quickly dropped it.

(Sorry I wasn't responding, I was about to when my internet access went haywire on me.)

"Thanks," Coco squeaked softly and started to eat the meat. She was so hungry, and it was delicious.

"Okay," Prince said. "But the reason I let Lavender take over is because, well, I felt like I wasn't helping the pack at all. She can probably do better than I did."

(Trying to decide...should he ask Amanda to be his mate?)

Lavender saw him talking to Amanda and snorted, they deserve each other, stuck up, whinny , bratty... She didn't know why, but when she saw the two of them together, it seemed to bite at her nasty side.

(I think he should)

Amanda looked at him. She said nothing. "I'm okay with it now I guess, I mean yeah Lavender and I aint such good friends but I think she'd be a good leader, I was angry about her becoming leader earliler was because I was in a bad mood." she admitted.

"Oh, alright," Prince said. He swallowed. "Amanda, I...well...I was wondering...would you like to be my mate?" Prince asked, feeling very flustered.

Lavender heard this and gasped. She quickly shut her muzzle hoping nobody heard her and quickly rushed into the undergrowth. She snarled to herself, why am I acting so stupid! You knew they'd end up together sooner or later.

A small evil voice in the back of her head said, because you like him!

She thought while baring her teeth, NO! I DON'T! SHUT UP!

Yes, you dooooo.

Keep talking and I'll knock myself out just so I don't have to hear you, and the voice stopped.

(Hehe, the voice shut up xD)

Fuzzball didn't hear Prince, or Lavender's gasp. He just saw her run off, for what he thought was no reason. He followed her. "Lavender? Are you alright?" He asked in a concerned voice.

Amanda gasped. Did he just ask her to be his mate? "O-Of course!" she squeaked. Her voice was filled with happiness.

Prince smiled widely. "Great!" He said. He leaned forward and licked her muzzel awkwardly. He'd never done romance before. He wished Casanova was still alive so he could ask him what to do.

Amanda smiled. "Umm, Should we head back to the burrow? I don't know if we should tell anyone about us yet, wait a little while." she squeaked.

Lavender saw Fuzzball coming and held her breath, if ferrets could blush, she would look like she had been chewing jalapeno peppers as if they were gum. Did he see the way I reacted to Prince's question to Amanda!? Please oh please don't let that be the answer!
