RolePlay 4th of June

Hokey could smell Skittles and peeped in curiosity.

Skittles looked up at Hokey. She frowned at her fur because it was wet. She stood up and got as a far away from the kits and shook her fur, water flying everywhere. She though for a moment of what happend today, She was so close to death a few times. She shivered from the thought closed her eyes. She fainted again.

(I don't think you should say fainted, more like, 'became very tired and layed down and fell asleep' fainted is actually more like getting a major shock or getting hit really hard upside the head.)

Megan shook off the water and layed down.

(Yeah, Okay oops)

Skittles curled up into a tight ball she started to roll around in her sleep for some reason.

Megan looked outside, it looked like the funeral for the kits who died would have to wait until the rain subsided.

Skittles opend her eyes and sighed. "I can't sleep." she mumbled loudly. She got up and licked her fur. She wanted to let the rain hit her fur again bur she knew Megan and the other adults wouldn't let her out right now. She frowned and sat down.

"Neither can I," Megan agreed, but she was thinking about the kits that had been killed.

Once Megan said that she walked up to Megan carfully trying not to wake up the others. She popped her head out of the burrow and hopped out. She sat not very far from the burrow and closed her eyes as the rain hit her fur making it wet again.

Megan popped her head out of the burrow, "Why you doin' that? You'll catch a death out here it's wet and cold, incase ya'll aint noticed it's rain' and it's night!"

Skittles opend her eyes and turned to Megan. "I grew up around water, I like the rain." she squeaked and turned back to the falling rain. She closed her eyes. She opend her mouth and little rain drops fell into her mouth.

Megan sat down, "You are one of a kind, you know that? I have never ever ever ever seen a ferret that actually liked water."

Skittles turned back and smiled. "Really? That's a first isn't it?" she asked. She opend her mouth to drink the water from the rain. "This makes me thirtsy." she squeaked.

Sparkle laughed, he had poked his head out of the burrow. "Being in the rain makes you thirsty?"

Skittles looked at Sparkle. "Yeah." she squeaked. Without saying another word she got up and walked towards the river she fell in earlier.

"Skittles come back!" Sparkle shouted. He frowned. I'm going to have to follow her. And I just got dry. he thought misrebly. Sparkle trotted out of the burrow and ran after Skittles. "What are you doing? Come back to camp!" he said, catching up with her.

Skittles squeaked without turning around. "I'm going to get a drink." she sped up to the river. She finaly found the river and started drinking. She lifted her head up. She tucked her paws under her chest, she didn't care about the rain pouring down on her fur.

"Let's go back to camp. Now." growled Sparkle. "You fell in the river, and played in the rain. You don't need any more water."

Skittles said noting and layed down. It's not like he's my father, He and Megan are always bossing me around She thought.

"Skittles, it's dangerous to be out here. You saw that fire. You were almost thrown in the river by the mud." Sparkle said.

Skittles looked up at Sparkle. "It is not." she squeaked. She watched the river and noticed it was shallow here. She got up and was about to hop into the river. She breathed in and sighed. She layed back down.

"Do not go into the river. It may look shallow, but it's very easy to get swept into the current. And in this rain, I probably couldn't save you." Sparkle warned.

Skittles sat up. "I know that." she squeaked. She looked around. She got up and went over to a tree, She layed down but didn't go to sleep. She frowned, she was a kit and she wanted to go and play. She closed her eyes and bared her teeth. Her eyes shot open. What was she thinking? She got up about to spring off.

Sparkle tackled Skittles, pinning her to the ground. "I know you want to play, but you can't right now. I promise tomorrow, if the rain has cleared up, we can go play. But right now we must get back to camp. Ok?"

Skittles frowned. She struggled to get out of Sparkles grip. She frowned and stoped. "Fine." she growled.

Sparkle got let her go, but bit Skittles scruff to make sure she didn't wander off again. He walked her back to camp.

Skittles rolled her eyes. "Ugh!" she growled. She frowned. I hate this! She thought. She to dart off away from Sparkle and Megan for awhile so they wouldn't have to keep on watching her.

"Skittles! We aren't trying to boss you around! We are trying to keep you safe, if anything ever happened to you..." she didn't even want to start that.

Skittles looked at Megan. "I think I can take care of myself, I'm growing up to be an adult one day you know." she growled.

Megan looked sad, "I know that! But the thing is you are trying to grow up faster than you really are! Besides, no ferret, adult or kit, could survive in that storm alone, we are ferals, not truely wild, and even the wild animals suffer in storms like this!"

Skittles frowned. She shook her fur and popped her head outside. She looked back and squeaked. "I'm not going anywhere." she squeaked and hopped out. She closed her eyes and sat down then started to think.
