RolePlay 4th of June

Megan sighed and shook her head, she had a feeling that Skittles was a bit more like her mother than she realized.

Skittles fur was getting very wet again. She looked around, and went over to a tree. She layed down, loving the sound of the rain. After the beautiful sound to her, she fell asleep.

Megan called out to Skittles, "Skittles? Skittles! Skittles!" She cried out, it was weather like this, that brought out dangers greater than the wind and lightning... predators.

Meanwhile, a coyote was using the darkness to his advantage and was stalking around trying to find something to eat. He smelled a young animal, he knew it must be small, and tastey. He followed the scent up to a tree...

Megan spotted the coyote and screamed at the top of her lungs, "SKITTLES!!! COYOTE!!!"

Skittles jumped awake. She turned around. She backed away slowly. "Oh no." she whispered. She knew if she led the coyote towards the burrow it could try to kill more of Starlight's kits. She wasn't going to let that happen. She frowned. She squeaked. "Hey! Over here you nasty mutt!" she darted off, she stoped and turned around to make sure the coyote was following her. "Over here! Nasty piece of slime!" she snarled.

The coyote yowled with glee as he caught sight of Skittles. He chased after her. When she turned and insulted him, all he heard was 'dook dook dook dook.' He snapped his jaws at her, his long and lanky legs were to fast for her short little ferret legs.

Megan screamed, "SKITTLES!!! SKITTLES RUN!!!"

Skittles watched as the coyote got closer. She darted into the tall grass. She thought for a moment before moving, She turned to the river and darted off towards it. She turned back to the coyote. "Over here!" she growled.

The coyote was soon right over her, it lunged forward and pinned her down with a massive paw. He drooled like any canine.

Skittles struggled. She looked back at the river. She knew she had to act quick or she'd be in the coyote's stomache. She hissed and bit his legs. "Stupid thing!" she snapped at the coyote.

The coyote growled, the bite of a ferret kit was like less than a pinch to him. He was about to bite around her head, when suddenly he threw back his head and yowled in pain.

Megan had her jaws clamped tight around the coyote's leg. He turned and sank his long teeth into Megan's back. She screamed in pain. It threw her hard and she hit the tree Skittles had been sleeping by. It now turned it's attention to her. It charged full speed at Megan snarling and barking.

Skittles shot up. She darted off toward's the coyote and hopped in front of Megan. She leaped at it and bit it's leg. She tryed hard to sink them hard into the coyote. She steped back hoping the coyote would come after her.

Sparkle leapt onto the coyote. He clawed at it's head and eyes and bit hard on it.

The coyote easily shook off Sparkle, he was far bigger than the fox they encountered earlier.

Skittles frowned. She sprang on the coyotes leg and sunk her teeth into the coyotes leg trying hard to get him to notice her. "Hey! Down here you stupid mutt!" she snapped.

The coyote flicked her off with a swift thrash of his leg.

Skittles frowned. "Come get me you ugly mutt!" she snarled.

Again all the coyote could hear was 'dook dok dok dok dook dook.' He completely ignored Skittles as he turned on Sparkle.

Skittles looked at Sparkle. "Sparkle! Over here!" she called. "I have an idea!" she yelled.

Sparkle stood up and lept at the coyote again, sinking his teeth into its leg. He closed his powerful jaws, and would not let go. Blood poured around his mouth.

The coyote snarled, he was the size of a large dog and the bite didn't hurt as bad as it could. He sank his teeth into Sparkle's back and tore him off his leg, then tossed him through the air as if he were light as a stick.

"Sparkle!" Skittles yelled. I need to get that coyote to follow me some how! She thought. She looked around for something to get the coyote's attention. She seen a large stick. "Maybe that'll do it." she squeaked. She picked it up with her mouth and hopped on the coyote. She almost fell but managed to keep her balence. She hit the stick against the coyotes head. She jumped on his back and hit the stick againt his back.

"Skittles no! It's too dangerous! Let me do it!" Sparkle hollored. As she had said earlier, SKittles was still a kit. He jumped onto the coyote. "Go! I know what to do!" he told her.

The coyote snarled, Skittles may have only made things worse, he rolled onto his back...

(brb gotta go have dinner)

Sparkle knocked Skittles out of the way, but couldn't avoid getting squished himself. He screamed.

Skittles rolled away. She blinked when she seen Sparkle. She bared her teeth and darted at the coyote. She hopped over it and looked at the coyotes face. She bit it's muzzle, she tryed to get it to follow her.

Sparkle tried to wriggle out of the coyote. It had pinned him against a paticularly sharp rock. That, and the coyotes pushing weight, was giving him great pain.

Skittles looked away. "Sparkle, Once you're free you and Megan run away, I'll have the coyote chase me." she looked up and bit the coyotes muzzle and scratched its eyes.

"No! You go now! Up a tree, wherever! I am not letting you or Megan get killed! I'll let it eat me if it will save you, and the whole pack!" Sparkle yelled. He thrashed at the coyote, his claws raking open it's skin.

Skittles didn't listen. She looked at Sparkle, her eyes saying, 'I have an idea'. She frowned. "Go, Once you're free go as far away! I'll let this coyote eat me if it has to! As long as it'll keep the pack from getting killed it's fine with me!" she yowled. She bit it's ear and then she hopped off biting the coyotes muzzle again.

"Skittles, that's what I just said! Exept I was talking to you! I am your elder, and your Beta! Now run!" Sparkle commanded.
