Roleplay - 16th of June

Charlotte was growling to herself under a small shrub, she still couldn't believe Al had allowed Ruby back into the group.

Ruby got up and streched. She was starving. She padded out of the burrow and stood enjoying early morning sunlight on her fur for a moment.

(I have to go)

Charlotte watched Ruby closely with an icy cold glare.

(Aw..)

Ruby didn't notice Charlotte, mostly. She did a little, but she ignored her. She padded of to hunt. She soon spotted a mouse and crouched down and started to stalk it. She leaped forward and sunk her teeth into it's flesh. Soon it was dead. After a little more searching, she found a small vole. She did the same to it, and then she had it has a catch too. She carried both peices of prey back to camp and dropped the vole for herself. She took the mouse over to Charlotte. She dropped it in front of the other jill and went back to the vole. She had given Charlotte the mouse in the same way that Dicky and Ginger gave them prey, as if ordered to. Except she hadn't been ordered.

Charlotte snapped at Ruby when she came to close. She snatched the mouse in her mouth and tossed it aside like trash. She hissed at Ruby and stalked off.

Boyo was also awake and simply watched. He snickered to himself, when would Ruby learn that her... well, no one's efforts would ever be appreciated here.

Ruby sighed to herself. She was not that upset that Charlotte had not eaten it, she had figured as much. But that the prey would be wasted...maybe someone else would eat it. She began to nibble on the vole.

Nick-Nack came above ground with Tank and scanned the area.

Ruby caught a glance of Nick-Nack and stared at the vole. She was dying to talk to him but she could never do that.

Tank walked by Charlotte and yelped as he was bitten in the hind leg.

Boyo burst out laughing for no real reason.

Ruby gulped. If Charlotte was biting Tank for no reason, she'd better stay away from the jill. Ruby could tell Charlotte wasn't excatly fond of her.

Nick-Nack snorted, to say Charlotte wasn't fond of Ruby would be the understatement of the century, which to a ferret is far longer than it is to a human.

Ruby finished off the vole but stayed where she was and wondered what she should do now.

Boyo came over and sat by Charlotte, she was starting to become ready to mate again and he wanted a chance to be the father this time.

She growled at him, he had about as much chance as Joey, and that was VERY low. Because she only wanted the strongest males, she would only accept Tank or Al, the most dark and strongest members, and after her bite, even Tank's chances were looking down.

Ruby watched Nick-Nack out out the corner of her eye.

Al came above ground with Joey trailing behind him.

Ginger was forced to follow him out.

Dicky followed his sister with his tail dragging in the dirt behind him.

Ruby saw the slaves and wondered who they were.

Nippsy was behind Dicky, she saw ruby and glared, great! another master!

Ruby saw Nippsy's glare. She wanted to ask who they were, but the Mafia wern't really the type you could ask. But who else tell her?

Boyo got up and snapped at the slaves, forcing them to move and go hunting for the clan. He followed, to keep an eye on them.

Dicky jumped as he was snapped at and hurried to go to hunt, trying to keep himself between Boyo and Ginger and Nippsy.

Nippsy had learned not to growl at him or she would get a hard bite.

Dicky looked around for prey to hunt.

Ginger sniffed a rock and began to dig under it, she could smell something there.

Seeing that Ginger had found something, Dicky wandered off a little. Though it was summer and prey was rich, he was having trouble finding anything to hunt.

Ginger dug out a vole and killed it instantly. she picked it up and turned to carry it back to the camp.

Dicky was still searching around. He spotted birds and squirrels in trees. It seemed there was tons of prey around, but all of it was out of reach. He sighed and countinued looking.

Nippsy was ready may need help finding something.

Finally, finally, Dicky detected a mouse nibbling on a seed. He stalked forward and bit it's neck. It was dead. He picked it up and went over to Nippsy. "Did you find anything?" He whispered to her.

She shook her head, "Nope, but I can take that mouse to the camp if you'd like."

"Yes, you take it. I'll catch something else." Dicky said, dropping the mouse, giving her a quick lick on the head and going back to hunt more.
